Seek a job as a customer service representative if you are the type of person who likes to talk on the phone and assist customers. As a customer service representative, you may be expected to type information into the computer and verify information with the customer. Your job will be to answer any questions the customer may have and resolve any pending issues. You may also be asked to promote products or a service the company offers. Depending on the company and the type of telephone work you will be doing, calls may be inbound or outbound.
Crafts
Start your own crafting business if you are artistically inclined or creative. A specialty gift basket business is one to think about and could be profitable. Many people do not have the time to shop, and some often do not know what type of gift to give. A custom-made gift basket would make the perfect gift. Once your specialty gift basket business is established, you can create your own website and sell your gifts baskets at your online store. You may also want to sell your creations on a website that allows you to post pictures of your work and sell your work for a small fee. Because you set your price, you may be able to make a good salary selling specialty gift baskets.

Paint a picture, or a few, if you can turn out a work of art someone would buy. If you are better at writing fiction, look for companies that want people who can write romance or sci-fi stories, or write a book and get it published. Many book publishers are always looking for fresh voices and unique stories. Freelance writing is a job you can do at home, whenever you have the time and desire to write, and the money you make can adds up to a good amount.
