The quickest way to get rid of cellulite is through laser surgery or liposuction. These methods are extreme, expensive and painful. If you are looking for a natural way to reduce cellulite, you can make an inexpensive, natural caffeine scrub. Using a caffeine rub on a regular basis, eating a healthy diet, and toning cellulite prone areas through exercise can dramatically reduce cellulite.
Step 1
Scoop 3 tbsp. of coffee grinds into a medium size bowl. The coffee must be caffeinated as caffeine is the main ingredient that minimizes cellulite. Pour in 1 tbsp. of olive oil to moisten the coffee. Add 1 cup of body lotion to the bowl. Any lotion will do but for added cellulite-blasting ingredients choose a lotion that contains retinol A and Vitamin C to plump the skin and diminish the appearance of cellulite.
Step 2
Mix the ingredients thoroughly and warm it in the microwave for 15 seconds. When you are ready to use the scrub, stand in the shower or bathtub without the water on. The scrub can get messy, so this will ensure an easier clean up.
Step 3
Pick up a glop of the mixture with your hands. Rub it into the areas of your body that have cellulite. Use gentle circular motions to rub the scrub in for at least five minutes. This well help increase circulation. The coffee grinds will also exfoliate your skin, so you may use it over your entire body as an exfoliater in addition to a cellulite reducer.
Step 4
Turn the shower water on to rinse the scrub off. Your body may appear rosy and pink due to the increased circulation. If your skin becomes raw and red, you were scrubbing too hard which can be damaging to the skin. If the skin is red, wait several days before repeating the scrub and be extra gentle next time.
Step 5
Apply this scrub to your skin two or three times a week on the areas that have cellulite. You should notice improvements within two weeks.
