How to Take Apple Cider Vinegar
The idea of ingesting vinegar of any kind is repulsive to many people because of the sour taste. Vinegar is a French term that translates as sour wine. Apple cider vinegar is an acetic acid and harsh to the taste at first. In the apple cider vinegar diet, you need to swallow 1 to 3 tsp. of the substance prior to eating each meal.
What it Does
Apple cider vinegar will suppress appetite. If you can swallow 2 tsp. of the substance prior to eating, you should notice that you will not eat as much as you would normally eat at a regular meal. Some of this has to do with the taste of the apple cider vinegar and the rest is due to the chemical nature of the substance.
Limitations
You should not engage in the apple cider vinegar diet for more than two weeks at a time. It loses its effectiveness after 14 days. Apple cider vinegar can have a corrosive effect on your teeth and can also irritate your throat. It is best to start off with 1 tsp. of apple cider vinegar and make sure that you can tolerate it.
