DermaWand is a hand held skincare device. The manufacturer suggests that it can improve a variety of facial concerns, such as aging, puffiness and enlarged pores. The DermaWand works by emitting impulses from the wand into the skin tissue. Results are said to be immediate, according to DermaWand.com. A DVD comes with your DermaWand, and it shares secrets of the experts on how to reduce the signs of aging, improve skin tone and diminish unsightly blemishes.
Step 1
Prepare your skin by cleansing it with Derma Vital Pre-face treatment. Gently dry the area with a towel.
Step 2
Plug the device into an outlet and turn the dial clockwise to one of the first few marks on the dial. Initially, use the DermaWand on a lower setting until you have seen how your skin reacts. Test the intensity of the pulse on your palm before applying it to you face.
Step 3
Gently put the DermaWand tip on the affected area. Avoid pimples that are overly red or irritated. Applying the pulse to a severely impacted, infected pore could lead to scaring or prolonged irritation.
Step 4
Roll the DermaWand tip on your skin in either a circular motion or in long, sweeping motions. Avoid resting the tip in one spot for more than a few seconds. You should treat your face for about a minute.
Step 5
Place the tip of the DermaWand directly over a blemish to target treat a particular pimple. Lightly press the tip onto the tissue and then remove it. Do this 15 to 20 times, being careful not to press too hard.
Step 6
Apply Derma Vital Hydra Infusion Treatment and Skin Mist and Hydra Support Face Cream to the skin after you finish treatment with the wand. This will help moisturize your skin.
Tips and Warnings
- Over time, increase the setting on the wand to produce a more intense pulse. Your skin will eventually tolerate a higher setting. When treating specific blemishes, increase the setting to the highest level you can tolerate.
- Do not turn the DermaWand setting up so high that it is painful to use. This is unnecessary. Discontinue use if unusual marks or intense redness appears after treatment. Mild redness is normal, but it should disappear within an hour or so of treatment.
