Superfood
Superfood combines a host of herbs that Life Nutrition claims will help cleanse and nourish the body. Life Nutrition also claims that the herbs in Superfood, such as alfalfa, beet root, rose hips and spinach, work together to keep you alert, help to ward off free radicals and keep your body in an alkaline state. Along with herbs, Superfood contains vitamins, minerals, proteins and carbohydrates. You can take Superfood as a supplement to your diet or as a meal replacement shake.
CoEnzyme Q10
Life Nutrition promotes its CoEnzyme Q10 supplement as an antioxidant that helps to stimulate energy in your body's cells as well as defend tissue against free radicals. Free radicals are harmful agents from your environment, such as smoke and radiation, that may erode tissue throughout your body. According to the Mayo Clinic, the body's natural production of CoQ10 slows with age. This process can make your body more susceptible to degenerative diseases, such as heart disease, muscular diseases and Parkinson's disease.
Omega 3 Fish Oil
Omega 3 fish oil is an essential nutrient for humans to consume through their diet because it is not produced naturally in the body. Fish oil contains both docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid, which help your body lower triglycerides. According to the Mayo Clinic, lowering triglycerides will lower your blood pressure, your risk of heart disease and the buildup of plaque in your arteries. Life Nutrition claims that this product will help improve brain function, help with depression and reduce your risk of stroke. Life Nutrition does not provide any scientific evidence that directly substantiate these claims.
