For tough projects where you need to repair something in a hurry, Super Glue can be your best friend. But if you get it on your hands, it can turn into your worst enemy. Getting the sticky stuff off your hands fast is essential for getting back to work and keeping your hands clean and mess-free.

Step 1

Fill a small bowl with warm, soapy water. Dip the affected parts of your hand, such as the fingers, in the bowl. Soak the area for at least five minutes.

Step 2

Remove the affected area from the water. Allow to air dry.

Step 3

Use unaffected fingers to peel the affected area to roll the adhesive off your skin. Use a spatula or a spoon for adhesive that's harder to remove.

Step 4

Apply acetone or nail polish remover to the affected areas when the warm, soapy water doesn't work. Use a cotton swab to apply acetone or nail polish remover to the area and rub it with your fingers to remove the Super Glue.

Tips and Warnings

  • Apply moisturizer after using acetone or nail polish remover, as it can dry out the skin severely.
