Made of laminated sheets of vinyl, ProForm mouth guards protect your teeth during sports without hindering your speech or breathing. Custom fit by your dentist, the mouth guards fit securely against your teeth. ProForm mouth guards come in a variety of colors and have matching helmet straps. If you wear a ProForm mouth guard, special care is required before and after each use.
Step 1
Turn on the tap and run the ProForm mouth guard under cold water before inserting into your mouth. Give the mouth guard a few shakes over the sink to remove excess water.
Step 2
Slide the mouth guard into your mouth and press it into place using an upward motion. The mouth guard should slide over your top set of teeth, fitting snugly in place without slipping.
Step 3
Remove the ProForm mouth guard after game play. Gently pull down on the front of the mouth guard, removing its grip on your teeth. Slide the mouth guard out of your mouth.
Step 4
Rinse the mouth guard with cool water after removal. Fill a cup half-full with antibacterial mouthwash.
Step 5
Place the mouth guard in the cup of mouthwash in between uses, dry thoroughly, then store the mouth guard in its matching case provided by your dentist.
Tips and Warnings
- Replace your ProForm mouth guard once every two years. If your mouth guard feels uncomfortable or doesn't seem to fit as it should, see your dentist.
- Do not clean your mouth guard with hot water. The heat from the water can cause the mouth guard to lose its shape. Do not allow anyone else to wear your mouth guard.
