There are two main home health care agencies in Dayon, Tennessee. Before exploring your options, you should understand that these agencies are following the codes as set forth by the state of Tennessee. They have services to offer you or an ailing family member or friend both inside and outside of the home.
Definition of Home Health Care
Each state has its special requirements for home health care. To qualify as a home health care agency in the state of Tennessee, the establishment must meet the following standard as set forth by T.C.A. 68-11-201: "home health service means a service provided an outpatient by an appropriately licensed health care professional or a qualified staff member or licensed home care organization with orders recorded by a physician."
Home Health Care Participants
According to the same provisions as above, home health care officials must be one or more of the following types of individuals or belong to this type of occupation: "(a) skilled nursing care including part-time or intermittent supervision; (b) physical, occupational, or speech therapy; (c) medical social services [or] (d) home health aid service." The hope is that the patient will receive the best quality care from these types of individuals.
