According to the Texas Heat Institute, poor circulation can also lead to sensations of numbness in the feet and toes. In addition, your toes may to tighten or spasm when exposed to cold temperatures, smoking or emotional stress.

Major Symptoms

If your foot circulation is severely limited, you may develop ulcers and infections that do not heal.
