How to Reset a NordicTrack EXP1000

Having a treadmill at home means you never miss a workout due to bad weather or because you can't make it to the gym. The EXP1000 is a fold away in-home treadmill by NordicTrack. It features speeds up to 10 mph and an adjustable incline up to 10 percent. There are three preset workouts and two customizable workouts. The iFit technology allows you to connect the treadmill to your CD player and work out with a virtual personal trainer. If your NordicTrack EXP1000 treadmill doesn't turn on, the circuit breaker may have tripped and you will have to reset the machine.

Step 1

Find the circuit breaker on the front of the treadmill, near the power cord.

Step 2

Determine if the circuit breaker has been tripped. If the switch is protruding from its slot, it has been tripped.

Step 3

Wait five minutes.

Step 4

Press the switch back in. Your treadmill should now operate correctly.
