Jenny Craig is a weight loss program in which a personalized weight loss plan is developed to help you reach your weight loss goals. The plan provides Jenny's Cuisine meals and snacks so you don't have to worry about choosing the right foods. As you continue through your weight loss journey, Jenny Craig provides emotional support with one-on-one check-ins and consultations. The program has three steps to help you win the battle of the bulge.
Getting Started
The program starts with you meeting with a program director to evaluate your current lifestyle. You will review your eating habits and activity levels to design your personal profile. Creating your profile provides the information used to design your weight loss plan. The program director will conduct your initial weigh in and measurements. In this stage you begin eating the Jenny Craig meals to start the weight loss process. Weekly check-ins with a Jenny Craig consultant start in this stage to help you with any challenges and to join you in celebrating small successes.
Halfway There
At the halfway mark of the program, you start transitioning off of the Jenny's Cuisine meals. You learn how to eat on your own by making healthy food choices. You take a Food Confidence Quiz to help you begin planning your own menus. The program provides a practice menu to aid in the transition process. In this stage, you meet with your program director to reevaluate your calorie needs for your new smaller body. You also learn how to increase your activity levels to improve your results. Weekly consultations continue during this stage to check on your emotional health and set new weight loss goals.
At Goal Weight
At this stage you have reached your goal weight and begin a maintenance program. You transition further off of Jenny's Cuisine and prepare more of your own meals. Your program director helps you design a plan to maintain your healthy lifestyle changes. At this point you begin maintenance support and have access to online tools for ongoing support.
