Pricey preservative anti-aging facial products may be close as your nearest beauty supply or pharmacy, but a homemade anti-aging facial mask made of quinoa will revitalize your skin without harsh chemical additives while costing very little. Quinoa is a healthy grain that will nourish your skin with magnesium, phosphorus, fatty acids and vitamins A, E and D. The quinoa mask will preserve and replenish your skin's natural moisture and elasticity, leaving your skin smooth and radiant.

Step 1

Bring 1/2 cup of soy milk to a boil in a small saucepan, then stir in 1/4 cup of quinoa. Turn the heat down and put a lid on the pan. Allow the quinoa to simmer for 12 to 15 minutes, then allow the quinoa to cool.

Step 2

Place the cooled quinoa in a blender. Add 2 egg yolks, 6 oz. plain, full-fat yogurt and 2 drops of mimosa oil. Blend well.

Step 3

Smooth the quinoa facial mask over your face and neck. Leave the mask for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

Step 4

Pat your skin with a soft towel, then apply your favorite moisturizer. For the best restorative effect, apply a quinoa mask once every week.
