A sauna belt focuses infrared rays to directed areas. As opposed to an infrared sauna that you sit in, this belt attaches to individual areas of the body for more focused penetration. Infrared heat and light, also known as radiation, or radiant heat, represents over half of the energy emitted by the sun. The light is divided into three segments: near, middle, and far. The human body is composed of 90 percent water, therefore far infrared heat and light resonate in those water molecules to ionize them. This supports pH balance within the body, causing weight loss and many other health and beauty benefits, suggests ActiveForever.com.
Step 1
Get in a comfortable position either laying down or standing up. Do not sit down, as this can complicate the machines circuitry, as mentioned by the manufacturers of Crassul Sauna Belt. Remember that a 50 minute session is recommended, so if you choose to stand, be aware that you might be standing for awhile, or you can lay down in the middle of the treatment if necessary.
Step 2
Apply the sauna slimming belt to the area of the body you desire to treat. Do not attach the belt to tightly, but make sure it is secure. Set a timer for 50 minutes and turn on the machine. Check the skin under the sauna slim belt every 10 to 15 minutes to see if the skin is turning red. If the skin is red, use a thin piece of cloth to place between the belt and your skin.
Step 3
Keep the surrounding room temperature at 60 to 65 degrees F for optimal results with the sauna slim belt. Avoid air conditioners or fans while you use the sauna slim belt, as not to decrease the effectiveness of the heat output of the belt.
Step 4
Avoid drinking cold drinks or eating within two hours of using the sauna slim belt. It is advised by the manufacturers of the Crassul Sauna Belt, to wait two hours after eating before undertaking the sauna belt exercise.
Step 5
Remove the sauna belt after 40 to 50 minutes. Do not exceed the 50 minute recommended cycle, as to avoid skin damage. Allow the skin to dry and balance back to a normal temperature on its own, and do not apply any lotions or oils until two to three hours after the sauna treatment, or until the skin is back to normal in color and temperature.
