Healthy Diets for Fast Weight Loss

Many diets allow you to lose weight fast, but not all of them are healthy. Most healthy diets have been vetted by professionals and are offered through commercial parties. Consider the Dr. Bernstein Diet, Herbal Magic Diet and Weight Watchers Diet.

Herbal Magic Diet

The Herbal Magic Diet allows you to consume foods that you would normally eat. This diet is for individuals who are looking to lose weight fast. On the Herbal Magic Diet, you are required to take at least two herbal supplements three times a day before every meal. According to the Herbal Magic website, you can lose about 3 to 4 lbs. a week on this diet.

Weight Watchers Diet

The Weight Watchers Diet teaches you how to eat properly while consuming foods that you like to eat and are familiar with. The diet uses a points system; on this system, all foods have their own points and throughout the day, you calculate the number of points you obtain based on the foods you eat. A number of points are recommended for each day. You are required to attend a weigh-in at the Weight Watchers clinic every week. Unused points for the week can be used to enjoy a beverage such as wine, at no cost to you.

Dr. Bernstein Diet

The Dr. Bernstein Diet is a medically supervised diet, tracked by nurses and a doctor at a diet clinic. The diet focuses on low calorie intake, which includes a selection of two fruits, vegetables, starches, proteins and a small amount of "freebie" foods daily. You are required to have vitamin B6 and B12 injections three times a week, as this increases your metabolism, resulting in quicker weight loss.
