Change the angle of the view from front to back to see the DVD exercises from both directions so you are sure to see how to the moves with proper exercise form.

Step 3

Practice the home base position, or standing abdominal crunches, which is based off a samba move. Walk your feet out from together to greater than shoulder-width apart to the beat and press your arms forward from your chest. Crunch your torso by bending your shoulders down as you squeeze your stomach to the beat. Also, push your hips forward as you bring your shoulders down. Keep your knees bent.

Step 4

Practice the side-to-side merengue move. Bring your arms overhead and shake your hips from right to left. Squeeze your abs and bend your knees. Shift your weight from your right to left foot to the beat from the music.

Step 5

Practice the lunges from the paso dance. Bring your right foot forward and lift onto your left heel. Position your left knee directly below your left hip and bring your right knee above your right ankle. Bend your knees and pulse up and down to the beat. Keep your tailbone tucked and your abs squeezed.

Step 6

Master these moves and keep doing the Kick Start DVD until you are sure you are ready to move on. Try the Full Workout or Quick Workout DVD when you're ready.
