It can be said that the matters of the most importance get the most intriguing monikers. The Midwest in the 1930s wasn't just having a drought, it was a "Dust Bowl." Michael Jordan's last shot wasn't just a great shot, it was "The Shot." Likewise, your midsection isn't just in need of exercise, it's a "muffin top" and the sides are "love handles." But with the right measures taken, others will toss around a different nickname: "the stone cold fox."
Step 1
Lie down on an exercise ball. Twist your torso until it is perpendicular to the ball. Return to your starting point and perform the exercise on the other side. Repeat 20 times.
Step 2
Put your hands on the ground with your knees elevated on top of the ball. Slowly roll the ball out with your legs and pause. Breathe deeply and bring the ball back to your starting point. Repeat 20 times.
Step 3
Lie on the ground and bring your knees up to 90 degrees. Perform a crunch while holding a medicine ball overhead. Turn your body to the right and your legs to the left. Then, perform the exercise with the opposite arms and legs. Repeat as many times as you can, but don't overexert yourself: Fitness Magazine classifies this as an advanced workout.
Step 4
Do the Plyo Shuffle. Step out with your left foot and straighten your right leg. Lean forward, jump and land on your right foot with your left leg straight down. Repeat 20 times. Fitness Magazine recommends this exercise as a technique for burning back fat.
