A peanut butter and jelly sandwich can be nutritious, depending on the ingredients. For example, low-fat organic peanut butter containing no sugar or salt, and sugar-free jelly spread on whole-grain bread is a nutritious lunch option, while peanut butter with added salt and sugar, and jelly with added sugar spread on white bread is not.
