How to Get Eyebrows to Grow Faster

If you were the victim of a bad pluck or wax job, you probably want your eyebrows to grow back as quickly as possible. In the meantime, eyebrow pencils can hide the missing hair. If the hair grows back unevenly, use a pair of tweezers to even it out, once the hair has grown to an acceptable length.

Step 1

Massage your eyebrows. Spend several minutes each day massaging your eyebrow area. To massage, use your index finger to apply gentle pressure in a circular motion. This can improve blood flow, therefore stimulating hair growth.

Step 2

Improve your diet. Poor nutrition can adversely affect how quickly your eyebrows grow. Eat a nutrient-rich diet that includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy and protein.

Step 3

Take a hair growth vitamin supplement. Supplements are available over the counter that are designed to help your body hair grow, including the eyebrows. These products contain proteins, amino acids, folic acid, iron and other vitamins and minerals. For instance, Hair Formula 37 is a hair growth supplement that contains 37 vitamins and minerals linked to haircare.

Step 4

Use an eyebrow hair stimulation product. Certain creams are available over the counter that can be applied topically to the eyebrows to help them grow. One example of this type of product is Librow. Apply the solution with the included applicator daily for six to eight weeks to make your eyebrows grow.

Tips and Warnings

  • Some medical conditions and drugs can cause poor eyebrow growth. Speak to your doctor about changing your medications, if you can attribute your eyebrow hair loss to them. He may want to run tests to determine the cause of the hair loss.
  • Avoid plucking or waxing until your eyebrow hair grows back completely. Continuing to pluck or wax can prevent hair growth.
