"Archery is one of the oldest arts that is still practiced today," according to the Broken Arrow Archery website. The bow and arrow have always been considered more than a weapon. The first composite bow was created by the Egyptians in about 2800 B.C. Archery has since been used for hunting, war and sport. You can join an archery league, take classes and practice at indoor and outdoor ranges in Oregon.
