Joico K-Pak is a line of hair care products designed to treat dry and damaged hair. The products are called reconstructors because they are supposed to repair the condition of the hair. According to Joico product literature, the K-Pak shampoo begins with a cream foundation and includes Joico's Keratin Silicone Complex. The Keratin Silicone Complex is formulated to repair hair. You can also limit further damage to your hair by avoiding chemical processing treatments and limiting heat styling, which will help your hair look better while you use the Joico products.
Step 1
Buy the Joico K-Pak shampoo from a licensed salon. For best results, Joico recommends also buying the other products in the K-Pak line, including conditioner, deep penetrating reconstructor and leave-in protectant.
Step 2
Put a small amount of Joico K-Pak shampoo into your palm. Use a nickel-sized amount of shampoo for short hair or up to a quarter-sized amount for long hair. Place shampoo throughout hair until all hair is evenly covered. Rub shampoo with fingers to work up a lather.
Step 3
Rinse shampoo from hair with warm water until all shampoo is removed.
Step 4
Apply K-Pak daily conditioner to hair after shampooing. Allow conditioner to set for two to five minutes before rinsing with warm water.
Step 5
Use K-Pack deep penetrating reconstructive treatment twice weekly after shampooing and before using conditioner.
