Vitamins

Pizza has a lot of potential for becoming a healthy meal, especially when eaten in moderation. Tomato sauce is a great source of lycopene. In a 2006 article published by CNN Health, registered dietician Jaime Harder wrote that lycopene may play an important role in reducing the risk of a variety of diseases, including cancer. Lycopene, especially present in cooked tomatoes, is a powerful antioxidant that repairs cell damage. Cheese is a good source of calcium and pizza dough, especially if it's whole wheat, is a great source of fiber.

Toppings

Papa Romano's offers dozens of toppings for its pizza, each with its own nutrition profile. Adding chicken and Parmesan cheese to your pie brings the calorie count to 1,775 with 48 g of fat for a medium, 12-inch pizza. A medium deluxe pizza topped with pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, onions and green peppers has 2,665 calories and 113 g of fat. Extras

The antipasto salad has 80 calories per person --- the large salad feeds about 10 --- with 45 g of fat. A personal Caesar salad has 118 calories and 5 g of fat.
