Orovo Diet, a diet pill made with natural ingredients, is available in several formulas.
According to the manufacturer's website, Orovo diet and weight loss products claim to provide the body with essential nutrients while also detoxifying the body of cholesterol, fat and water weight. The ingredients are similar in all the formulas except for the Xtreme version which includes energy-boosting ingredients. Consult a physician prior to beginning any weight loss program or trying any weight loss product.

Green Tea

Green tea is a low-calorie tea made from the leaves of the camellia sinensis plant. Green tea contains about 4 calories. According to MayoClinic.com, green tea contains an amino acid, L-theanine, that works to reduce anxiety. Green tea also contains free radical fighting flavonoids. Although green tea contains low amounts of caffeine, Orovo offers caffeine-free versions.

Superfoods Blend

Orovo Diet uses a superfood blend, a mix of foods with high nutrient content. It contains many ingredients to promote fullness, detoxification and reduce water weight. Barley is the base ingredient because of its high fiber content. Barley is also a natural diuretic.

Buckwheat contains high amounts of protein and is a fruit grain used in products as a substitute for wheat.

Alfalfa is a diuretic used to reduce the amount of water weight and to detoxify the kidneys.

Acai is made from the acai fruit and contains high amounts of antioxidants.

Flaxseed is a seed containing high amounts of essential fatty acids. Essential fatty acids are needed in protein chain production, increasing testosterone amounts used for energy and lowering cholesterol.

Wheatgrass is another diuretic ingredient that flushes toxins out of the kidneys and liver.

Soy isoflavones is a soy-based protein and lactobacillus acidophilus is a digestive enzyme added to break down the protein.

Cayenne and garlic are both blood cleansers and promote healthy circulation. Cayenne and garlic are also used in detoxification and to improve heart health.

Since many of these ingredients are also considered blood thinners, individuals taking blood thinning medications must consult a physician to determine any side effects or contraindications.

Alpha Lipoic Acid, DMAE and Idebenone

Alpha lipoic acid, DMAE and Idebenone are energy ingredients. Alpha lipoic acid is an antioxidant that converts glucose into energy. DMAE is a naturally occurring substance that increases brain power and energy. Idebenone is also a brain stimulant and provides the body with additional energy.
