Of all of the things women commonly dislike about their body, bust size is one of the easiest to resolve. There are a plethora of creams and pills marketed to women that claim to increase bust size, but there's no evidence that any of them actually work, according to MayoClinic.com. Certain exercises, cosmetic procedures and a few optical illusions can give you the fuller bust size you want without wasting your money on false promises from magic cures.
Step 1
Strengthen your pectoral muscles with exercises like push-ups, butterfly presses and bench presses. As your pectoral muscles get stronger, they'll get bigger and push your breast tissue forward. This will give your chest both a slight lift and a slight size upgrade.
Step 2
Take hormonal birth control. Some women report the increased estrogen in birth control pills causes their breasts to get bigger. This could be because birth control hormones caused breast tissue growth or it could be a temporary change due to water retention, according to Health Services at Columbia University.
Step 3
Breastfeed your baby during pregnancy. Breasts get larger during pregnancy, then get even larger when milk comes in. Some women find their breasts never quite shrink back all the way and remain larger. The downside to relying on breastfeeding to increase breast size is that some women's breasts become smaller than before pregnancy once weaning is complete, according to What to Expect.
Step 4
Schedule an appointment with your doctor to discuss breast augmentation surgery. Talk about healthy expectations, risks, side effects and desired results. Have a complete breast exam and physical first to make sure you and your breasts are healthy enough to undergo surgery.
Step 5
Wear clothing that makes your breasts look bigger. Padded bras and push-up bras can make your bust line look fuller and enhance your cleavage. Try on a variety of tops and dresses and choose patterns and cuts that draw the eye upward and minimize the size of your waist and hips to make your breasts appear larger.
