Migun massage uses a special massage bed that combines Eastern massage techniques, such as acupressure, with Western technology, such as infrared heat. The massage is designed to stimulate the muscles and nerve endings to encourage balance within the body, enhance cellular function and boost the metabolism. Migun massage, in addition to a healthy diet and exercise, encourages weight loss. Migun massage tables are available for home use, from the retailers, or at select spas across the United States.
Step 1
Dress to your comfort level. If using a home machine, you may wish to wear a bathing suit or go naked. If using a spa machine, follow the spa's rules for dress while using the table.
Step 2
Lie on the massage bed and take the remote control. Your head should be 3 to 3 1/2 inches from the top edge.
Step 3
Use the remote to turn on the machine, set the massage mode and press the "Run" button. The mode determines the duration. For example, "Mode 1" lasts 35 minutes while "Mode 5" only lasts 15.
Step 4
Adjust the settings, as desired. Start with the heat at a low setting and gradually increase to your comfort level. You can also adjust the motion and speed of the massage rollers.
Step 5
Lie back and relax the massage session. The machine will signal the end of the session and automatically shut down.
Tips and Warnings
- Drink several glasses of water after each session. Home users should use the massage table at least twice a day for the best results. Wait at least four hours between each session.
- People on blood thinners and those with severe osteoporosis should not use the Migun massage table. Pregnant women and people with pacemakers should also avoid using the table. Do not eat or drink while using the bed, to avoid spillage.
