Human growth hormone, or HGH, is an increasingly common ingredient in skin care products and under-eye treatments. HGH, naturally produced in the body by the pituitary gland, decreases with age. HGH injections and topical treatments have sought to increase HGH levels in an effort to slow the aging process. Although HGH injections are available only by prescription, topical HGH skin care creams and under-eye treatments are available without a prescription. Topical treatments seek to reduce wrinkles, puffiness and darkness in an effort to make skin appear younger. They are applied locally to trouble spots.
Step 1
Cleanse and tone your skin according to your normal skin care routine. Pat your skin dry with a soft towel.
Step 2
Apply a small amount of the HGH eye serum to the fingertips of the middle and ring finger of your right hand.
Step 3
Place your fingers underneath your eye at the inner corner. Press into the skin slightly without rubbing or pulling the skin. Lift your fingers from the skin and move slightly to the right. Press your fingers into the skin again. Repeat pressing the product lightly into the skin until you reach the outside corner of the eye.
Step 4
Repeat for the other eye.
Step 5
Apply the serum under the eye in the morning and night.
Step 6
Apply daily or nightly moisturizer after applying the eye product.
