If you've dieted, you know that calorie counting can feel like a full-time job -- especially when you can't trust the information provided by the food manufacturer.
In response to a study stating a Lean Cuisine shrimp and pasta meal listed as containing 220 calories actually had 319 calories, a spokesperson for the company stated on the "Today" show that Lean Cuisine works hard to ensure its label information is consistent with the actual product, following federal guidelines that allow a 20 percent difference on nutrition facts listed and true nutrition contents.

Casual Cuisine

When it comes to Lean Cuisine's Casual Cuisine line, the Chicken Ranch Club Flatbread and Chicken Club Panini tie for highest caloric content. Both contain 360 calories, 9 g of fat and 3.5 g of saturated fat. The Flatbread has 640 mg of sodium, while the panini has 680 mg. The flatbread also has 47g of carbohydrates, while the panini has 46.

Café Cuisine

The Café Cuisine is another of Lean Cuisines product lines. Topping this list in terms of calories is the Pesto Chicken with Bowtie Pasta, with 340 calories, 9 g of fat -- 3 g of which is saturated fat -- along with 550 mg of sodium and 42 g of carbs. The lightest meal is the Steak Tips Portobello, which contains 160 calories, 7 g of fat -- 2.5g being saturated -- 550 mg of sodium and10 g of carbs.

Comfort Cuisines

If you're in the mood for comfort food, Lean Cuisine also offers Comfort Cuisines. The Chicken Parmesan contains 310 calories, 8 g of fat -- with 2g being saturated -- 39 g of carbs, and 660 mg of sodium. A lighter option, the Herb Roasted Chicken, contains 170 calories, 3 g of fat -- 1g is saturated fat -- 540 mg of sodium and 20 g of carbs. And the salisbury steak and mac-and-cheese contains 260 calories, 8 g of fat -- 4g being saturated -- 540 mg of sodium and 48 g of carbs.

Market Creations

Lean Cuisine has yet another line called Market Creations. At the top of this list is the Chicken Margherita, which checks in at 300 calories, 8 g of fat -- 2.5 being saturated -- 690 mg of sodium and 37 g of carbs. On the other end of the spectrum, the Shrimp Scampi has 250 calories, 7 g of fat -- 4 g being saturated -- 690 mg of sodium and 32 g of carbs.

Spa Cuisine

If you're in the mood for something more exotic, there's the Spa Cuisine line. The Thai-Style Noodles with chicken and Chicken Pecan tie with 310 calories and 7 g of fat. The Thai Noodles have 1.5 g of saturated fat, 590 mg of sodium and 41 g of carbs. Chicken Pecan contains 1 g saturated fat, 580 mg of sodium and 43 g of carbs. Grilled chicken primavera has only 200 calories, 3 g of fat and 1 g of saturated fat. It also contains 580 mg of sodium and 28 g of carbs.
