Pin worms are parasitic worms that can be passed to humans from soil or animals that have been contaminated with worm infestation feces. Pin worms are very small, and usually exit the body of a human through the anus once the person is asleep or resting. Treatment usually involves taking an antimicrobial medication, but there are also natural home remedies that can eliminate parasitic infestations.

Garlic

Garlic is a powerful antimicrobial substance and an effective purgative against pin worms. Crush several garlic cloves and boil them in 2 cups of hot water for around 10 minutes. Allow the garlic to cool and pour it through a strainer, catching the juice into a bowl. Pour the juice from the bowl into an enema bag. Insert the enema tube into the anus, and lie down on the ground to allow the juice to fill the colon. Once the enema bag is empty, allow the juice to remain in the colon for five minutes, then expel the juice and parasites into the toilet.

Wormwood

Wormwood is an herb that is extremely anti-parasitic. It is powerful, works fast and should only be used for a few days to eliminate pin worms from the system. Combine 4 oz. of wormwood leaves with 2 cups of boiling water. Let the leaves steep in the water until it cools, then strain out the leaves. Drink 1/4 of the liquid four times per day, until it has all been consumed. Wormwood will flush out the digestive tract and purge the parasites from the body through defecation. If the pin worms remain after three days, discontinue use of the wormwood tea and consult a physician or naturopath.

Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin seeds are helpful in physically removing the pin worms from the body. Use a food processor to grind up 1 to 2 cups of whole pumpkin seeds. Pour in 1 tbsp. of honey, and 1/2 cup of hot milk. Let the pumpkin seed pulp steep in the milk for three minutes, then eat the entire mixture. After a few hours, take 2 to 3 tbsp. of olive or Castor oil to help expel the pin worms from the colon. Since this is a more manual form of getting rid of pin worms or parasites, it may take a few days to be fully free of worms. Eat the pumpkin seed mixture on an empty stomach to ensure that the mixture will reach the parasites quickly and effectively.
