If you're careful about how you eat and find yourself needing to grab a meal on the run, Subway has several items on its menu that won't hurt your meal plan. The Big Hot Pastrami sandwich, however, isn't one of them. This sandwich is arguably the least healthiest on the restaurant's menu and is extremely high in not only calories, but also fat and sodium.

An Unhealthy Sandwich Choice

No sandwich on Subway's menu contains more calories and fat than the Big Hot Pastrami sub. Expect to eat 580 calories in a 6-inch sub. The sub also has 31 grams of total fat and 11 grams of saturated fat, each of which are the most of any sandwich. The Big Hot Pastrami's 1,470 milligrams of sodium rank third behind only the Steak & Bacon Melt and Spicy Italian. The Big Hot Pastrami is also available in a salad form. But, as is the case with the sandwich, the pastrami salad is extremely high in calories, fat and sodium.
