Many workout enthusiasts who enjoy lifting free weights join health clubs because they enjoy the wide range of weights and equipment. They also need a spotter when working to exhaustion or with heavy weights. However, design advances have made home gyms that use free weights a reality. The lifting mechanisms use free weights but do not require a spotter.

Function

The advantages to working out at home are numerous. You don't have to wait through long lines to get on the weightlifting equipment of your choice. You don't have to wipe off somebody else's perspiration. You can work out when it's convenient for you. If you are serious about getting stronger, you want to lift free weights. In the past, this had been nearly impossible to do in a home situation because you probably did not have a spotter at your disposal. However, today's home gyms give free-weight enthusiasts the ability to lift safely even when a spotter is not available.

It also comes with a 45 lb. chrome Olympic weighlifting bard and two Olympic spring collars.

Considerations

To make a home weightlifting system work, you need to put your gym in a spot that is convenient for you to use. However, you don't want others to come into the area in order to stop and chat. If you are disciplined, a home gym gives you an opportunity to work on your strength building on a scheduled basis. However, a casual attitude won't help you get all the work done when you have a home gym.
