The southern area of Wisconsin has an abundance of rivers and lakes, including 250 miles of the Mississippi River. Here you can fish year-round for small-mouth and large-mouth bass, catfish and northern pike. Across this area are several fishing resorts that allow for you to enjoy on-site fishing spots while relaxing in comforting accommodations.

Situated along the banks of Puckaway Lake in southern Wisconsin is Adeline's Retreat. This unique fishing resort offers year-round on-site fishing. In addition to Puckaway Lake, Buffalo Lake Elkart, Lake Winnebago, Little Green Lake and Lake Fox River are located nearby.

The Cedar Ridge Resort is situated in southeastern Wisconsin along the Mississippi River. This fishing resort has multiple accommodations available for rent. These include the large River Stone unit, the year-round Log Home, the Loft and the Cottages. Popular fishing locations around this resort include Lake Pepin and Pool 4, which is the area between Lock and Dam 3 and Lock and Dam 4 of the Mississippi River.

At Cedar Ridge Resort, guests have 300 feet of private shoreline to enjoy. This includes two 64-foot docks and one 80-foot dock, several 14 to 16 foot Lund boats and the local Great Alma Fishing Float. The Mississippi River and Lake Pepin have year-round fishing that includes northern pike, walleye, sauger, sunfish, catfish and small-mouth and large-mouth bass.
