Go Girl produces three brands of carbonated energy drinks marketed to young women; Sugar-Free, Glo and Bliss. Each of the three Go Girl drinks promotes and sends funds to cancer causes. Go Girl Sugar-Free and Go Girl Glo donate a portion of their proceeds to breast cancer research and awareness, while Go Girl Glo donates a portion of the proceeds to ovarian cancer research and awareness. The ingredients are similar to many other energy drinks.
Go Girl Sugar-Free
The pink can of Go Girl Sugar-Free is fruit flavored and marketed as a low calorie energy boost with essential vitamins. It uses the artificial sweetener sucralose and contains less than 5 calories. Of the total carbohydrates, none are simple sugars making the drink suitable for diabetics. The drink provides 4 percent of the daily value, or DV, of sodium, or salt. The drink is vitamin and mineral fortified and provides 10 percent DV of magnesium, 50 percent DV of pantothenic acid, 80 percent DV of riboflavin and vitamin B12, 100 percent DV of niacin and 250 percent DV of vitamin B6. To boost energy the drink provides a 100 mg of the mild stimulant caffeine, equal to a cup of coffee. Additional ingredients include 800 mg of taurine, 200 mg of garcinia cambogia and 100 mg of inositol.
Go Girl Glo
The teal blue can of Go Girl Glo is pomegranate and starfruit flavored and marketed as promoting healthy skin and heart. It uses the artificial sweetener sucralose and contains 35 calories. Of the total carbohydrates, 8 g are simple sugars. The drink provides 3 percent DV of sodium. The drink is vitamin and mineral fortified and provides 6 percent DV of iron and vitamin E, 10 percent DV of calcium, 10 percent DV of folate, 25 percent DV of vitamin B6 and riboflavin and 35 percent DV of vitamin B12. To boost energy the drink provides 75 mg of caffeine, equal to 3/4 cup of coffee. Additional ingredients include 500 mg of taurine, 508 mg of Super Citrimax, 1 mg of Coenzyme Q10 and 1 mg of aloe vera.
Go Girl Bliss
The orange can of Go Girl Bliss is peach tea flavored and marketed as a mild herbal appetite suppressant. It uses the sweeteners sucralose and agave and contains 35 calories. Of the total carbohydrates, all 8 g are simple sugars. The drink provides 1 percent of the DV of sodium. The drink is vitamin and mineral fortified and provides 5 percent DV of magnesium, 25 percent DV of pantothenic acid, 40 percent DV of riboflavin and vitamin B12, 50 percent DV of niacin and 125 percent DV of vitamin B6. To boost energy the drink provides 65 mg of caffeine, equal to approximately 3/4 cup of coffee. Additional ingredients include 400 mg of taurine, 100 mg of Garcinia Cambogia and 50 mg of inositol.
