3. Activity Adds up
You've heard it before, exercise helps you lose weight. With the Mayo Clinic Diet, that doesn't necessarily mean you have to hit the gym. 4. Score Your Goals

An unofficial Mayo Clinic Diet was released,and it does not emphasize the healthy options you find in the official Mayo Clinic Diet. The unofficial diet encourages the dieter to eat grapefruit, salad and protein with very little carbohydrate intake. With this fad diet, the dieter stays on for 12 days, takes two days off and then is back on for 12 days. The Mayo Clinic does not endorse this diet or the eating plan that it encourages.
