What Do You Eat on Jenny Craig?

Jenny Craig is a weight loss plan that has support centers nationwide. The goal of the Jenny Craig plan is to encourage a healthy relationship with food. Not only are you expected to diet while following Jenny Craig, but remain physically active as well. Once you sign up for Jenny Craig, you will be given an eating plan that includes the various foods you are permitted to eat.

Breakfast

The breakfast foods you are allowed to eat on Jenny Craig will contain a reduced number of calories and consist of smaller portions. The breakfast entrees that you can choose to eat are available through pre-packaged Jenny Craig meals or as recipes that you can prepare at home. Some breakfast foods offered through the Jenny Craig brand include cheddar cheese omelet, blueberry pancake with sausage, maple oatmeal, banana nut muffin, honey oat bar, French toast and cranberry nut cereal. Some grocery foods that you can eat for breakfast include low-fat milk, grapefruit, nonfat yogurt, oranges, kiwi and whole grain cereal.

Lunch

Lunch consists mostly of sandwiches and soups. Some popular entrees you can choose from are barbeque beef panini, corn chowder, chicken noodle soup, broccoli and cheese potato, chicken salad, personal pizza, southwestern chicken and rice, chicken burrito and grilled chicken sandwich. These meals are all available under the Jenny Craig brand and can be purchased through grocery stores, centers and online. Supplemental grocery items include spinach salad, mixed green salad, carrots, zucchini and mixed fruit.

Dinner

Jenny Craig dinners include chili, spaghetti with meatballs, chicken parmesan, cheese ravioli, chicken fajitas, meatloaf, turkey with gravy and fish and chips. The supplemented grocery items for dinner will be the same as the lunch options. On Jenny Craig, you are allowed to eat salads, vegetables, fruits and low-fat dairy items.

Snacks

Jenny Craig snacks are low-fat versions of your favorite treats. Options are chocolate chip cookie, white cheddar popcorn, pretzels, triple chocolate cheesecake, cheddar crackers and chocolate cake. The only fresh option you can really eat for your snacks are vegetables and fruit. For most of the eating plans, you are permitted an unlimited amount of fruits and vegetables.
