The bar contains low glycemic carbohydrates, high-grade proteins and naturally occurring fats that may promote muscle gains in the body. According to Bodybuilding.com, VPX Zero Impact protein bars are a good choice in order to build muscle. These bars offer 30 grams of protein, important in fueling growing muscles. In addition, they offer a high amount of calories and therefore provide the body with satiation and adequate fuel for muscle repair. Bodybuilding.com states that each bar may contain between 400 and 484 calories, depending on the flavor chosen. These bars come in a variety of flavors including peanut butter and jelly, pumpkin supreme and roasted coconut.

Pro42 Protein Bars

The Pro42 Protein Bars provide a high amount of protein in only one bar, with 42 grams. This makes them a good choice for muscle and strength gain. They supply the body with 380 to 430 calories making them a satiating and calorie-high source of protein. The number of calories depends on the flavor eaten, which vary from cookies and cream to peanut butter chocolate chip.

Detour Bars

The Detour protein bar may be a good choice for achieving muscle gain, according to Detour.com. The Detour website promotes this bar as a complete source of essential proteins that may recover and rebuild muscle tissue. Each bar ranges from 440 to 460 calories and offer 30 grams of muscle-promoting protein. They also offer a range of flavors include peanut butter banana, peanut butter chocolate chip and chocolate chip cookie dough.
