Ultra 90 diet pills are designed to help dieters facilitate fat loss while maintaining lean muscle mass. The name "Ultra 90" is indicative of the length of the diet pill's weight loss program which lasts 90 days. However, the Ultra 90 website indicates that you can remain on the program longer, if desired. Ultra 90 is available in a daytime formula called Ultra 90 AM as well as a nighttime formula named Ultra 90 PM.

Instructions

According to the Ultra 90 website, dieters following the Ultra 90 AM plan should ingest three gel capsules with a glass of water as soon you awake in the morning. Do not consume anything other than water for at least one hour afterward, as the pills must be taken alone. Ultra 90 PM followers are instructed to not eat or drink anything other than water for at least three hours before bedtime in order to allow the stomach to empty. Dieters are then instructed to ingest three gel capsules and go to bed.

Additional Usage Instructions for Exercisers

The Ultra 90 website recommends that individuals who exercise take 3 gel capsules 30 minutes before their workout begins. According to Ultra 90, taking the capsule pre-workout may help disperse lactic acid build-up which may possibly lead to a more beneficial exercise session and less muscle soreness the following day. The Ultra 90 website also recommends that individuals seeking to lose 40 or more pounds use both the AM and PM formulas.

Inactive Ingredients in Ultra 90

The Ultra 90 website does not distinguish the difference between the AM and PM formulas. Both Ultra 90 AM and Ultra 90 PM contain the same ingredients. However, the ingredients are listed in a different order, which may indicate that one formula contains more of a certain ingredient. The ingredients are hydrolyzed fish collagen protein, safflower oil, aloe vera, vitamin C, gelatin, glycerin, water, bees wax and lecithin.

Active Ingredients in Ultra 90

The Ultra 90 website lists Vitamin C, Tonalin® CLA and L-hydroxyproline, or marine collagen protein as active ingredients. Tonalin® is the brand that supplies Ultra 90 with CLA, or conjugated linoleic acid. According to the Ultra 90 website, CLA works by inhibiting lipoprotein lipase and preventing fat storage in the body. L-hydroxyproline contained within the Ultra 90 formula is supposed to feed and nourish the connective tissues. L-hydroxyproline is also supposed to aid the body's healing and repair.

Cost

According to the Ultra 90 website, each bottle of Ultra 90 diet pills contains 30 servings, if taken only once per day. As of October 2010, the cost per bottle is $44.95. The Ultra 90 program lasts 90 says, so a 90-day supply will cost approximately $134.85. For dieters choosing to purchase the AM and PM formulas, a 30-day investment would double to $89.90, with the complete 90-day supply costing $269.70. According to a review on the Diet Pill Critic website, Ultra 90 does not offer a money back guarantee.

Warning

The Ultra 90 website claims that it is safe and does not contain any herbs, stimulants or caffeine. However, Ultra 90 diet pills are not regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, also known as the FDA. According to the FDA, dietary supplements do not require FDA approval, which means the product may not be safe for usage. If you are considering using Ultra 90 diet pills as a weight loss supplement, consult your physician first.
