A stomach disorder may prevent you from eating certain foods. However, there are food options and diets available for even the most sensitive stomach. GERD
Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD, is a chronic digestive disease that occurs when stomach acid or bile flows back into your esophagus, causing pain and discomfort, according to the Mayo Clinic. Frank W. Jackson, M.D., suggests a diet designed to prevent or reduce this acid reflux in your stomach. Such a diet plan is easy to follow and includes many foods. For example, cereals, vegetables, fruits and dairy products can be eaten with limitations recommended by your doctor.
Heartburn
Like GERD, heartburn is a digestive system condition that is caused by the back-up of stomach acid, according to the Mayo Clinic. While heartburn is most often felt in the chest or around the ribcage, you may also experience stomach pains. Avoiding foods high in spices or acidity, such as oranges or soda, can help prevent the onset of painful symptoms. Overeating may also promote the symptoms of heartburn in some patients.
Ulcers
