Mashed Potatoes

One cup of fresh mashed potatoes contains 256 calories, with every tablespoon of canned turkey gravy adding 8 calories to your meal.

Stuffing

A 1-cup serving of cornbread stuffing has 358 calories. If you opt to use the prepared, dry mix, there are 179 calories in a half-cup serving.

Cranberries

A cup of either cooked or canned cranberries has 418 calories. Substituting fresh cranberries will provide only 60 calories in 1 cup, which is 2 servings.

Pies

One-eighth of a 9-inch round apple pie has 411 calories, whereas the same size piece of pumpkin pie has 323 calories.
