Cadbury began in a small grocery store in Birmingham, England, nearly 200 years ago. The Cadbury Caramel Creme Egg, a chocolate egg with a caramel filling, is one of the Cadbury company's newer products.
Calories and Nutrition
Cadbury's Creme Eggs contain 170 calories. Each egg contains 22 g of carboyhydrats, which comprise 52 percent of the total caloric value. Fat is the next largest ingredient, with 8 g, or 43 percent of the candy's caloric value. Cadbury's Creme Eggs also contain 2 g of protein, which accounts for 5 percent of caloric value.
Allergens
Cadbury Caramel Creme Eggs may contain egg whites, which will be clearly indicated on the label. Cadbury labels also indicate if the candy contains tree nuts and peanuts.
Other Products
Cadbury also produces Dairy Milk bars, chewy caramel Curly Wurlys, peanut and caramel Star Bars, milk chocolate Twirls, Cadbury Fudge bars and white chocolate Cadbury Dream bars. The Cadbury Creme Egg is available only during the Easter season.
