Divanil (3, 4-Divanillyltetrahydrofuran)
Divanillyltetrahydrofuran is the primary ingredient in Mass FX. It is extracted from Urtica Diodica or the stinging nettle. It functions by attaching to the sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) and prevents it from binding to testosterone and estradiol. SHBG is responsible for regulating the amount of biologically active hormones in your body. This results in more bio-available testosterone (free testosterone) and estradiol (free estradiol). Elevated levels of free testosterone and free estradiol help promote muscle growth.
25R-Diol [(3b, 5a, 6a, 25-R)-Spirostan-3, 6-Diol
Mass FX also includes 25R-Diol, which is a patented ingredient. It a natural derivative of a class of compounds called sapogenins and has strong anabolic properties without side effects, according to the Anabolic Xtreme website. It is a naturally occurring substance that plant scientists call chlorogenin and can be found in plants like tribulus and the wild hyacinth. It helps by signaling androgen receptors within the muscle cells to promote growth.
White Button Mushroom Extract
White button mushroom extract has natural phyto-chemicals, such as beta-D-glucans and polysaccharides that bind to and hinder the activity of aromatase -- the enzyme that is responsible for converting male androgens into female estrogens. In other words, this compound prevents testosterone from converting to estrogen. It also may prove beneficial in attacking cancer cells and is beneficial for breast cancer patients, according to the American Cancer Society.
