Consultation
The first step is to go into the center for a consultation. You will have to fill out a form that asks a series of medical and lifestyle questions. Then, the counselor will take you to get weighed on the way to a consultation room where she will review the questionnaire to determine if the LA Weight Loss program is suitable for you. After that, she will ask you how much weight you want to lose. The total cost of the program is dependent upon the amount of weight you say. The counselor will then fill out a worksheet that lets you know about different plans available to you. If you choose to sign up, you will get the diet plan you need to start off on your program. Two to three days later, you will head back to the center for the counselor to explain your program.
Time Frame
The LA Weight Loss Center Diet Plan is based on a per-week fee for your weight loss phase and a maintenance phase. However, payment for the entire program is due upfront. The protocol for determining how many weeks of weight loss are needed is determined by dividing the number of pounds you want to lose by 1.5. So, for a weight loss of 20 pounds, you will commit to paying for 14 weeks of weight loss. During the weight loss phase, you will have to weigh in at the center two to three times. During the maintenance phase, you will report once a week.
Features
Once you pay for your program, you will receive the items to detox your body and kick off your program. These include a brochure that lists what you are allowed to eat for the two day detox, a bottle of juice-like beverage, and sometimes, a sample box of LA Lite bars. When you get your program kit, you will get a booklet that lists how many servings of each food group you must eat daily. This brochure also states what constitutes a serving. You will get a guide to help you make healthy choices at restaurants and a food journal to write down everything you eat and drink every day. You must bring this journal with you each time you go to the center for a weigh in.
