Bowflex 10M Instructions

The Bowflex 10M is an adjustable wristwatch with a built-in heart rate monitor. Most watch-based heart rate monitors require you to wear a chest piece to get your heart rate; however, the Bowflex 10M does not. A chest strap is typically visible through the clothing, which makes it unsuitable for the office or everyday use. Since a chest strap with the 10M is not required, you can wear it and get your heart rate reading at any time.

Step 1

Place the Bowflex 10M watch around your wrist and secure in place by fastening the belt strap snugly around the wrist. The watch should go on your non-dominant hand.

Step 2

Exercise or perform any other activity for which you desire a heart rate reading.

Step 3

Wait at least 10 to 15 minutes until after you have started the activity to monitor your heart rate.

Step 4

Place the index finger and middle finger of your dominant hand onto the finger sensors of the Bowflex 10M. The index finger should go on the bottom sensor and the middle finger should go on the top sensor.

Step 5

Hold the two fingers in place for at least 10 seconds or until the heart rate reading is displayed. Your heart rate will be displayed on the face of the watch.
