Lipozene Facts

Lipozene is an "As Seen on TV" weight loss pill that's classified as a natural supplement. It's supposed to help make you feel full, which in turn reduces your calories consumed, ultimately helping you to lose weight. However, its efficacy has not been scientifically proven.

Claims

Marketing claims for Lipozene include that it helps reduce weight and body fat. This product is marketed as clinically proven to reduce body fat, but there are no scientific studies cited as proof.

Dosage

The standard Lipozene dosage is one capsule taken with 8 ounces of water 30 minutes before each of three meals every day. You may, however, take as many as six capsules total each day.

Ingredients

Lipozene has just one ingredient, glucomannan, a natural source of water-soluble fiber derived from konjac root.

Pregnancy

According to product literature, you should not take Lipozene if you're pregnant or nursing.

DSHEA

Because Lipozene is a natural supplement, it's subject to the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA). This means the company or product manufacturer must validate the product's safety itself before its released to the public.
