Domino's Pizza sells more than just pizza. The restaurant's bread bowls are filled with your choice of pasta and sauce -- such as chicken alfredo or mac and cheese -- for a hearty meal rich in fiber. Take a minute to examine the calorie content of bread bowls before ordering.

Total Calories

According to the nutritional information on Domino's website, bread bowls have between 1,340 and 1,470 calories each, depending on the selection.

Daily Value

A Domino's bread bowl -- which is actually two servings -- contains 67 to 73.5 percent of the daily recommended calories. If you eat only half of a bread bowl, this would provide 33.5 to 36.75 percent of the daily value of calories.

Considerations

The daily caloric value for half of a bread bowl is still well above 20 percent. According to MayoClinic.com, any food with a caloric value of 20 percent or above is considered "high-calorie." For a Domino's item with fewer calories, try the 130-calorie garden salad.
