You may not be able to see pimples in your ears but you can certainly feel them. Pimples can be very sore and itchy in the ear and they can be caused by wax build-up or a small infection in the ear canal, according to FamilyDoctor.org. Never try to pop or press pimples in your ears, but you can take steps to reduce the pain and duration of the blemish.
Step 1
Soak a clean washcloth in warm water and apply it to the pimple three to four times per day. If you cannot reach all the way to the pimple, get it as close to the area as you can. The heat and moisture will soothe the soreness and disperse the infection where your white blood cells can attack it.
Step 2
Clean the ear with a solution of hydrogen peroxide. You can dilute the solution to prevent burning if the wound is open. Put a few drops of peroxide into the ear canal and let it sit for about two minutes before cleaning the ear with a cotton swab. This will help prevent further infection and keep the wound clean.
Step 3
Take a pain reliever such as acetominophen or ibuprofen to reduce the pain and inflammation. This will help relieve the pain and also help you to leave the area alone so it can heal. The pimple should go away or burst within one to two days.
