Water helps the body with the metabolism of fat. You may be exercising frequently and eating the right foods, but you still can't lose weight. You probably aren't drinking enough water. This is how it works. Your liver converts fat into energy. It has other jobs, but this is one of its most important. Drinking water will help your kidneys get rid of waste products and do its job. If your kidneys don't get enough water, your liver will make up for their lack of function. However, if your liver is doing the job of the kidneys, then it can't do its own job. That's why drinking water is so important. It allows the kidneys to transport waste and that lets the liver convert fat to energy.

Muscle Function

Water helps muscles function smoothly and properly. Many people will go to the gym after drinking coffee or other beverages that are high in caffeine.They figure this will give them an energy burst. While this may be true to some extent, coffee is also a diuretic that gets rid of water throughout the system. Your muscles need the natural lubrication of water to perform efficiently and at a high level. Muscles that get the proper amount of water contract easily and get stronger faster. Building muscles will help you lose weight.

Improved Skin Condition

Your skin will look much better if you drink at least eight bottles of water per day. This is a vital part of the weight loss process. You get immediate feedback every time you workout by how you feel and how you look. Your skin will respond better to exercise when you drink more water. It will retain more elasticity and it will have a cleaner sheen and glow. When you look in the mirror following an exercise or a workout, you will feel better about what you have just done. The better you feel about yourself, the more work you will be able to do and the more weight you will be able to lose.
