Dosage

The active ingredient of Nicorette Lozenges is nicotine polacrilex. Two doses are available: 2 mg and 4 mg. Nicorette.com explains that the 4 mg lozenges should be used if you smoke your first cigarette within 30 minutes of waking up. The 2 mg lozenges should be used if you smoke your first cigarette more than 30 minutes after waking up.

Inactive Ingredients

The inactive ingredients of the Nicorette Lozenges include aspartame, calcium polycarbophil, flavor, magnesium stearate, mannitol, potassium bicarbonate, sodium alginate, sodium carbonate and xanthan gum. Inform your physician of any other medications you are using to avoid drug interactions and adverse reactions.
