South Beach Diet

The types of recommended South Beach Diet food would include lean meat such as steak, fish, chicken or turkey, fresh vegetables or salad and low-fat dairy products. The South Beach Diet website provides examples for all phases of the plan including sea scallops with summer vegetables or chipotle-rubbed steak wraps. After the initial phase, examples of South Beach recipes include more carbohydrates and pasta dishes are permissible, such as penne with eggplant and ricotta cheese.
