Life Lift is an exercise program that utilizes breathing exercises in order to help users lose weight and tone their bodies. Life Lift claims that by using its program, participants can increase their fitness level without traditional workouts including weight lifting and using exercise machines. The Life Lift program also encourages a healthy diet but does not provide any specific kind of diet or food selection advice.

HIstory

Rashelle Haines created the Life Lift exercise program in order to allow people to lose weight and inches on their waistlines without any heavy impact exercise. Haines is a mother of two and a grandmother in her 60s who claims to have been a part of the beauty and health industry for 40 years. Haines also claims that the exercises in her program have the ability to alleviate stress and tone muscles.

Benefits

The Life Lift program claims that it can be completed by people of any age who are looking to lose weight. On it's website, Lifelift.net, the program claims that it requires only 15 to 20 minutes per day to achieve noticeable results. Since the exercises in this program do not require weights or machines you can do them almost anywhere at home, even while sitting at the computer.

Technique

All of the components of the Life Lift exercise program feature "aerobic breathing" as well as flexing and stretching exercises. These components make this Life Lift exercises similar to some yoga workouts. The exercises require you to flex and stretch body parts in tune with your breathing. During all breaths you will breathe out most of the air in your lungs, which requires nearly constant work from the abdominal region.

Types

In addition to the original Life Lift exercise program, Life Lift also features its "Oxygen Zoo" workout video. The Oxygen Zoo workout is a variation of the original Life Lift program designed to encourage children and their families to engage in breathing exercise programs. The Oxygen Zoo program uses poses that simulate the postures of different animals such as frog, cat and "cuddly bear" poses. The regular Life Lift video encourages its clients to develop their own workouts, picking and choosing different techniques to tailor a workout to their needs.

Considerations

The Life Lift exercises are available for purchase online; however the website leaves out key components that help to establish the credibility of this exercise program. While there are testimonials on the website, there are no before and after pictures from successful clients. The Life Lift company does not provide a guarantee of any kind for purchase of its workout program. There are also no research or evidence that proves the effectiveness of any Life Lift program.
