A product of General Mills, Cheerios is a toasted whole grain oat cereal. Whether eaten for breakfast or as a snack, Cheerios can be a healthy choice, having no cholesterol, no saturated fat and only 1 g of sugar per serving.

According to the official General Mills website, 1 cup of Cheerios has just 100 calories.

General Mills states 1 cup of Cheerios provides 2 g fat, 0 g saturated fat, 0 mg cholesterol, 160 mg sodium, 170 mg potassium, 20 g carbohydrates, 3 g dietary fiber, 1 g sugar and 3 g protein. A serving of Cheerios also delivers 45 percent of the daily recommended value of iron, plus other vitamins and nutrients, such as vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, iron, niacin, folic acid and zinc.
