Progresso markets it soup products as tasty yet nutritious. It offers a line of more than a dozen light soups that are low in fat and have fewer than 100 calories per 1-cup serving. Each can has two servings of soup.

100 Calorie Soup

Progresso's newest light soup, New England Clam Chowder, is also the most caloric of the light soups. It has 2.5 g of fat, with only .5 g of saturated fat.

80 Calorie Soups

Several soups have 80 calories, including Italian-Style Meatball with Penne, Chicken & Herb Dumplings, Beef Pot Roast and Zesty Santa Fe Style Chicken. All of these soups offer fewer than 1.5 g of fat and all have no saturated fat.

70 Calorie Soups

Soups with 70 calories per 1-cup serving include Roasted Chicken and Vegetable, Chicken Vegetable Rotini and Chicken Noodle. The Chicken Noodle soup has 3 percent of the daily value of fat and saturated fat, but the other two soups have 2 percent of daily fat and no saturated fat.

60 Calorie Soups

Progresso offers several 60 calorie soups that have no fat, including Homestyle Vegetable and Rice, Italian-Style Vegetable, Savory Vegetable Barley and Vegetable. A couple of their 60-calorie soups have 1 percent of daily value of fat, including Zesty Southwestern-Style Vegetable and Vegetable and Noodle.

Sodium

Most of these soups are light on calories and fat, but they are high in sodium, containing around 30 percent of your daily value of sodium per single serving.
